SCORE, America’s Counselors to Small Business, and the Information and Reference Department of the Main Library have teamed up for the 8th year to present “Your Business—It Starts with a Plan,” a series of instructional workshops for new and prospective business owners. Guest speakers from various fields in the business world will offer an insiders’ take on organizational and legal structure, marketing and financial plans, and effectively managing a small business. In addition, the Library’s subject specialists will demonstrate how to use the Library’s resources to support small business development.
There is no charge for attending the workshops and participants will receive a workbook including the highlights and notes from each session. Each of the instructional workshops builds on knowledge gained from previous sessions. Please be prepared to attend all three sessions. A “Certificate of Participation” will be available following the 3rd session.
