Family workshop

As part of the Early Childhood Financial Literacy Initiative, the Library offers free family workshops. During the workshop, specially trained volunteers will lead participants through activities to supplement the adults’ understanding of certain financial concepts and model how to use books and other activities with their child that help teach the basics of saving, spending and sharing. The workshops will also educate parents and caregivers about additional services offered at Hamilton County Financial Opportunity Centers, one-stop neighborhood-based centers that provide families and individuals with a full range of services and support from financial coaching to free tax preparation and benefits enrollment to employee assistance and credit counseling.
