BUILDING OUR FUTURE: JOIN US TO CELEBRATE
The Library will take a huge step forward in its $11.7 million building project when the Board of Trustees and Library administration break ground on three new branch locations and celebrate the completion of a significant renovation at a fourth branch! Ceremonies will be held in Clifton, Reading, and St. Bernard on Monday, April 21 to mark the progress of this important project.  The date for the Avondale Branch Library Grand Opening is yet to be determined.  Check for updates and watch the construction progress at CincinnatiLibrary.org.
TEEN POETRY and POETRY IN THE GARDEN
Celebrate National Poetry Month! The Main Library's 16th annual Poetry in the Garden series, in partnership with the Greater Cincinnati Writers League and the Friends of the Public Library, introduces you to the work of area poets and gives you the chance to recite your own poetry! Readings will be held each Tuesday evening through the month of April at 7 p.m.

The Library also wants teens in grades 7-12 to participate in the annual Teen Poetry Contest in April. Our partner, Elementz Urban Arts Center, is sponsoring workshops to help teens with the creative process. Find program times and entry forms at all Library locations and at teenspace.cincinnatilibrary.org.
