- Text a Librarian
- Use your cell phone or handheld device to text us a question! To use the service, start the body of the text with the keyword askus, followed by a space, followed by your question. - Chat with Us
- Use KnowItNow, our online reference service, to chat with a librarian. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Learn more about KnowItNow.
- Email Us
- Send us your reference question by email. You will receive a response within 24 hours whenever possible.
- Homework Chat
- Homework Chat offers students in grades 3-12 the opportunity to work with expert tutors in a “online classroom” on a wide range of subjects, including: math, science, social studies, and English. Tutors are available seven days a week, from 2:00-11:00 p.m. If you haven’t used the service before, please read through our instructions for first time users and information about downloading the online classroom.

- Call the Information Desk (513-369-6900)and talk to one of the Main Library’s expert reference librarians. Calls are taken Monday–Wednesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday–Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
