Services · Storytimes at Your Library

Raise your children to be lifelong readers by bringing them to storytime at the Library! Each of the Library’s 41 locations offers storytimes that are designed to be fun and aid in the development of your child’s early literacy skills.

Choose from the following storytime options:

Library Babies

Fun for you and your baby with songs, rhymes, stories and movement.
Recommended for ages 6 months – 18 months.

  • Anderson Branch, 1st Friday of the month, 10:30 a.m.
  • Blue Ash Branch, every Tuesday, 10:30 a.m.
  • Children's Learning Center, Main Library, every Thursday, 10:30 a.m.
  • Clifton Branch, every Tuesday, 10:30 a.m.
  • Green Township Branch, 2nd Thursday of the month, 10:30 a.m.
  • Groesbeck Branch, every Monday, 10:30 a.m.
  • Hyde Park Branch, 1st Friday of the month, 12:30 p.m.
  • Madeira Branch, every Wednesday, 10 a.m.
  • Mariemont Branch, every Wednesday, 11:30 a.m.
  • Monfort Heights Branch, every Friday, 10:45 a.m.
  • Oakley Branch, 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, 10:30 a.m.
  • Pleasant Ridge Branch, every Wednesday, 10 a.m.
  • Sharonville Branch, every Friday, 10:30 a.m
  • Symmes Township Branch, every Monday, 11 a.m

Toddler Storytime

Encourage emerging language skills with books, rhymes, music and fun. For toddlers and their caregivers.
Recommended for ages 18 months – 36 months.

Movers & Shakers

You and your child will shake it together! Sing, dance and enjoy music, movement and fun.
Recommended for ages 1 – 4.

Special Needs Storytime

Special needs children and their parent/caregiver share a reading adventure in a fun and safe environment. Registration required.
Recommended for ages 1 – 6.

Afterschool Storytime

Join us after school for stories and a craft.
Recommended for grades K-5, but everyone is welcome.

Family Storytime

Bring the entire family to enjoy books, songs, and activities, while building literacy skills. Evening storytimes are available for the convenience of parents with busy schedules and working caregivers.

Please note: parents and caregivers are expected to stay with children during all storytimes.
