Me and Momma and Big John
Big John is the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. Little John tells the story of his mother’s work as a stonecutter at the cathedral. Momma comes home from work, covered in gray dust, exhausted yet inspired as she tells him it “isn’t just a job, it’s an art.” The history of this beloved landmark is seen through the eyes of a struggling family, transformed through the power of meaningful work.
