An Immigrant's Story
Wyclef Jean and Anthony Bozza

Grandson of a voodoo priest and son of a preacher, Wyclef Jean was born into poverty on the island of Haiti. After moving to the US at an early age, he used rap music as a way to practice his English. His hours of rehearsing paid off as he reached multi-platinum status as a hiphop star, but his homeland continued to tug at his heart. When a 2010 earthquake destroyed everyday life in Haiti, he decided to enter the race for president there. His charitable work continues as he is committed to rebuilding the home he once knew.
