The Fifth Assassin
There have been 14 assassination attempts on the Presidents of the United States, but only four have been successful. Now archivist Beecher White (last seen in The Inner Circle, 2011) discovers there’s a killer in Washington, DC who’s recreating the crimes of all four of them: John Wilkes Booth, Charles Guiteau, Leon Czolgosz, and Lee Harvey Oswald. White must find the connection between these men and the modern-day killer. Who is the fifth assassin?
