The three little pigs join the new age in this updated version with comical illustrations and clever dialogue. The pigs' farmer plans to move to Florida so he pays them and sends them on their way. The brothers reluctantly buy building materials with their money but straw and sticks are cheap so they have money left for junk food. Their sister invests in bricks and builds a "big, beautiful, strong" house with a lush vegetable garden. The angry wolf passes out from all his huffing and puffing, the pigs revive him, feed him and become his friend. Delightful illustrations show the pigs' personalities and their playuful charm.
