Fortunately, the Milk

cover image of Fortunately, the Milk
Neil Gaiman

A little boy and his sister don't have milk for their breakfast cereal so Dad goes to the store. Something is amiss - hours and hours go by and Dad doesn't return. It seems he's been abducted by aliens, made to walk the plank by pirates, and then rescued by a stegosaurus in a balloon. Oh, and threatened by dancing dwarfs. Illustrator Young's wiry, pointy, black and white caricatures capture the irrepressible energy of the tale. This time travel adventure is full of inventive treachery and outrageous fun - from the Newbery award winning author of The Graveyard Book (2008) and Coraline (2002) Ages 8-12
