The Book of Polly

Kathy Hepinstall

Polly is a true character. She's a mother, an outspoken quirky Southerner, and enjoys margaritas. She also sticks out amongst the younger more modern parents in her small Texas town. Her 10 year old daughter, Willow, is obsessed with the fear of Polly dying. Willow's father passed away before she was born, her siblings are all much older, and she's well aware that she was a surprise to Polly who was in her late fifties when she had her. Willow wants to find out more about her mother's earlier life such as what happened with Polly's old suitor who possibly killed a man.
