“The Public” premiere sparked conversations about kids and teens experiencing homelessness

While Emilio Estevez's new film "the public" (shot at the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library) centers adult men, youth experiencing homelessness was the focus of a community conversation at the Main Library on April 7. A panel led by Strategies to End Homelessness and Lighthouse Youth & Family Services discussed the systemic roots, symptoms, and solutions to this growing human rights issue.

Celebrating Cincinnati Baseball: 150 Years of the Cincinnati Reds

The Genealogy & Local History Department will be celebrating this important year in Cincinnati Reds baseball by partnering with the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum to produce an exhibit in the Cincinnati Room featuring many items from both organizations’ collections. This exhibit will be on display from May 3 to July 28.
