About the

Loveland Branch

In January 9, 1967, the Loveland Branch Library opened in the basement of the Loveland Methodist Church. The branch was moved into part of the old IGA building in 1973, placing it closer to the elementary school and the local shopping center. By the early 1990's, an even larger building was needed. In January of 1993, the branch moved to its current location in the Shopper’s Haven Shopping Center. In 2016, the branch underwent a renovation project into a second storefront next door, which included the addition of a new TeenSpace MakerSpace, a meeting room and study rooms. The Grand Reopening ceremony was held on October 11, 2016.
