Take Your Shot at Great Prizes in CHPL’s Photo Scavenger Hunt

Written by Keith Armour, Education & Homework Support Manager, Downtown Main Library

In September, the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library invited kids and teens to participate in the Great Outdoors Scavenger Hunt. The response was incredible, but we were flooded with requests from adults asking for their very own scavenger hunt. With new challenges and prizes ready to go, it’s now time for our adult customers to show their scavenger hunt skills.

The weather is crisp, so grab a warm beverage and head out to snap some photos around your neighborhood. You don’t have to use a fancy camera; your cell phone camera will do. Your mission is to show an interesting object, critter, building, or landmark in your neighborhood or even your backyard. To get you started, here’s our printable list of ideas, opens a new window.

But don’t forget! Make sure to include a library item, library card, or your favorite CHPL gear (like something from our online store, opens a new window) in the shot.
