COVID-19 Resources for Parents and Caregivers of Young People

Updated with new resources at 8:46 a.m. on May 12, 2020

COVID-19 (coronavirus) has gotten personal for many families in our area, especially now that public and private schools are closed for the time being. It's inevitable that kids are going to have a lot of questions. Making kids feel safe and reassured—but also informed—is important to their emotional well-being as well as their physical health.

To help tackle these difficult but necessary conversations, our Children's Librarians and Materials Selection & Acquisition staff members have gathered the following books and digital resources about COVID-19, illness, germs, and personal hygiene that are both educational and appropriate for school-aged kids.

For more resources, visit our website. Digital resources are featured in our eBranch.
