Tutoring for struggling readers part of Library’s Summer Adventure program

Many young students face a challenge each summer. While their peers look forward to summer reading programs, these kids can’t participate because they struggle with reading skills and are behind a grade level or more.

Research shows literacy is crucial to future academic success. With that in mind, the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County is offering a new Summer Reading Tutoring component to its Summer Adventure program this year. Children entering grades 1–3 who are behind a grade level in reading may be eligible for free, one-on-one tutoring at these locations:
