This collection was created in partnership with leading African American genealogists and recognized leaders in genealogical information to develop a comprehensive mix of resources, records, and tools specifically pertaining to African Americans.
Cincinnati Inventor’s Database
This database indexes patents issued to Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Ohio inventors from 1814 through 1873. Each entry provides a link to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office website. TIFF software is required to view a patent's full-size image.
Culture Grams
Concise reports detailing the history, daily life, and customs of world cultures. Each report typically includes a regional overview, national anthem audio file, maps, statistics, photographs, biographies of well-known people, and a recipe collection. World Edition articles are aimed at high school users. Kids and States Editions are aimed at grade school users.
